The 2019 Budget will deliver almost half a billion dollars in infrastructure spending for Hume in the 2019-20 financial year.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor said tax relief, infrastructure investment and funding for essential services was only possible because of the strong economy.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has congratulated 11 successful Hume applicants under the Coalition’s Stronger Communities Round 4 program.

Mr Taylor welcomed the commitment in tonight’s Budget to deliver Round 5 of the program in 2019-20, at a cost of $22.65 million.

Hume local councils will share in almost $7 million in additional Roads to Recovery funding.

The 2019 Budget has outlined additional commitments to local roads funding for 2019-20 through to 2023-24.

Hume families and small businesses will pay less tax under the Coalition’s 2019 Budget. The Government will more than double the low and middle income tax offset.
