Hume’s small businesses are the big winners in the Federal Budget, with a lower tax rate announced for companies from 1 July 2016 and further tax incentives.

Member for Hume Angus Taylor says the Turnbull Government is committed to giving hard-working Hume families greater incentives to earn more, without being taxed more.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has welcomed new work incentives for young unemployed people in Hume, announced in the Budget.

Mr Taylor said due to their lack of work experience, often young people had difficulty getting the start they needed in the workforce.

Member for Hume Angus Taylor has welcomed the Turnbull Government’s action to ensure NSW Police officers can make voluntary superannuation contributions towards their retirement without incurring an additional tax burden.

The Turnbull Government has said no to Labor’s disastrous housing tax proposal and no to Labor’s massive tax increase on investment because they are bad for Australian families and bad for economic growth and jobs.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor says Anzac Day is “a special day for the heart and soul of our nation”.

“It is a day on which we remember those who have served and lost their lives or suffered for us,” he said.
