Coalition will prioritise more infrastructure for Boorowa

Angus Taylor says Boorowa and the Hilltops Shire will continue to receive major Federal infrastructure backing if the Coalition is returned to government.

“Our record of delivery is strong,” Mr Taylor said.

“The Coalition is investing billions of dollars in infrastructure projects in Hume to boost the local economy and improve the communities where we live and work. 

“The $11.5 million CSIRO Boorowa Ag Research Centre is one of the big items soon to be completed.”

NBN rollout                                                                 

Hume is well progressed - 93% of the electorate is ready to connect – or 69,050 premises can order an NBN service. Nearly 3000 premises have connected to satellite NBN across Hume. Estimated $40 million for nbn rollout in Hilltops Shire.

Mobile Black Spot Program (MBSP)

  • Mobile Black Spot Program (11 mobile phone towers for Hume, including Rye Park)
  • Mobile base stations ‘small cell’ announced for Frogmore and Reids Flat in Round 4 of MBSP, 2 of 6 new base stations announced for Hume in 2019.
