Couples eligible for relationship counselling support

Committed couples can now register online for a $200 subsidy toward the cost of education and counselling services under the Federal Government’s Stronger Relationships Trial.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor said the one-year trial would provide up to 100,000 couples across Australia with relationship education and counselling with a provider of their choice.

“Happy and healthy relationships build individual and family wellbeing and also help to strengthen communities. I encourage any couples in Hume who are eligible and interested, to register via the Stronger Relationships website,” Mr Taylor said.

He said the trial was open to couples over the age of 18 years who were in a committed relationship.
