“We’re rolling out new mobile phone towers and NBN towers right across Hume, helping people access great telecommunications in the most difficult parts of the electorate.

“More than 93% of Hume has access to the NBN. More towers are being built or planned across Hume, at Cobbitty, Wallacia, Mulgoa, Orangeville and the most recent switch-on this month has been at Menangle.

“I’m standing here near Menangle in front of the latest tower that’s just been commissioned. I’m here with Allan Hobbs from Durham Green (Retirement Village).

“Allan, tell us how this will help you.”

Allan Hobbs: “Well that’s fantastic. We’ve had lots of problems with our current system and this will give us what we really need as far as communications. Thanks Angus.”

“It’s a pleasure. This is great news for Hume and great news for Menangle.”
