New equipment for Tarago and Hill Top Men's Shed

Tuesday, 28 July 2020

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has welcomed funding for tools and equipment for Tarago District Men’s Shed and The Hill Top Men’s Shed under the 20th round of the National Shed Development Programme.

“I’m pleased that both of these sheds will now be able to purchase new tools and health and safety equipment with the funding provided,” Mr Taylor said.

“Now more than ever, Sheds offer men a critical avenue for social support and engagement.”

“Men's Sheds also play an important part in the community, whether that be holding a local sausage sizzle or restoring old furniture - so I’m really glad we can return the favour and show our support for them.”
