More bridges across our region could soon be upgraded or replaced, thanks to a further investment of $40 million from the Liberal and Nationals Government under the Bridges Renewal Program (BRP).
After last week's flooding, disaster assistance is now available in 12 additional Local Government Areas (LGAs) across NSW, including Goulburn Mulwaree.
Assistance is provided through the jointly-funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
Regional and rural sporting events are set to benefit from the Morrison Government’s Regional Sport Events Fund.
Now open for applications, the fund will support community sporting events across the region to kick-start the economy and encourage visitors back to the regions.
Grants of $1 million have been made to an additional 28 flood impacted councils, bringing the total amount of financial support provided to councils to $45 million.
