The Australian Government has activated the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) and Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA) to support an additional 18 local government areas affected by the storms and flooding across New South Wales.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor is calling on local volunteer organisations to apply for grants of up to $5,000. 

The Federal Government’s 2021 Volunteer Grants program is open once again, supporting volunteering in local communities. 

EX-SERVICE organisations (ESOs) in Hume who help veterans and their families are invited to apply for the 2021-22 Building Excellence in Support and Training (BEST) grants program, which are now open. 
 

Tens of thousands of new job opportunities will be created for apprentices and trainees across Australia with the expansion of the targeted wage subsidy program as part of the Morrison Government’s National Economic Recovery Plan.  

The Morrison Government is backing bushfire recovery for wildlife and habitat projects in Hume as part of a $10 million community grants program to support hands-on projects from setting up bee hotels and creating native community nurseries to cultural burning and installing nest boxes.

Funding is now available to support a safer road system and drive down road trauma with applications open under Round 2 of the nationwide $12 million Road Safety Innovation Fund. 

Small and medium hotels across Hume are being supported by the Morrison Government to lower their power bills so they can invest in their business and employ more Australians.

A new year means opening the 2021-22 Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program, with applications now welcome from organisations in Hume.
