Joint Federal and NSW Government disaster funding is being rolled out to Goulburn Mulwaree Council under Stream 1 of the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund (BCRRF), which helps councils promote community well-being, social and future disaster resilience.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has announced Round 5A of the $380 million Mobile Black Spot Program is now open for applications.

Local organisations in Hume with research project ideas that encourage the community to get involved are invited to apply for a Citizen Science grant.

Local organisations in Hume can now apply for funding to help protect Australia’s heritage under the Federal Government’s Australian Heritage Grants Program.

The $5.3 million program will protect and preserve national and world heritage sites and promote local tourism.

The Morrison Government is supporting dairy farmers across Hume to lower their power bills so they can reinvest in their business and employ more people.

Golden Wattle is returning to Southern NSW to provide locals across the region, some of which are still recovering from the summer bushfires and drought, with easy access to essential government services.

Men’s sheds, conservation groups, community organisations, not-for-profits and local councils can now apply for grants through the Bushfire Recovery for Wildlife and Habitat Community Grants Program to undertake on-ground recovery actions which will benefit their local environment. 

Men’s Sheds are invited to apply for funding as part of the newest round of the National Men’s Shed Development Programme (NDSP).

Applications will open at the end of October for a $250 million program to fund Bushfire Local Economic Recovery projects across New South Wales, including in Upper Lachlan, Goulburn-Mulwaree, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee local government areas.
