Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has announced a Federal funding injection of $830,000 for the Goulburn University Centre to boost the centre’s staffing and technology resources to attract more students.

Camden RSL and Elderslie Public School will mark the Centenary of Armistice with the help of $27,000 in Federal grants to upgrade the memorial rose garden and to build a school memorial area.

New traffic lights are operational on the Camden Valley Way and Macarthur Road intersection in Elderslie, with a $5.56 million upgrade to the area now complete.

Boorowa will mark the Centenary of Armistice with the help of a $5,700 Federal grant to erect plaques at the Boorowa War Memorial.

Goulburn West Public School will mark the Centenary of Armistice with the help of a $3,000 Federal grant to upgrade the school’s remembrance area.

Wollondilly will mark the Centenary of Armistice with the help of two Federal grants to upgrade a memorial walkway and honour roll and for the purchase of a display cabinet and memorial plaques.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor says a new 4G Telstra small cell for the village of Gunning is a ‘fantastic result’.

Mr Taylor said he had been lobbying for years for Gunning’s mobile phone and internet connectivity to be upgraded.
