Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has congratulated Exeter Tennis Club on successfully applying for $20,000 under the Stronger Communities Programme to upgrade their clubhouse. 

More communities in NSW impacted by the flooding disaster will have access to Commonwealth financial help from today, including Goulburn Mulwaree.

The Australian Government has activated the Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) after the floods in March.  

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has welcomed news that the 2022/23 Federal Budget will provide full Medicare funding for an MRI in Goulburn. 
 

More road and community infrastructure projects will be rolled out across this region thanks to a further $500 million in funding for the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program.

The Morrison-Joyce Government continues to deliver for local communities through the 2022-23 Budget. 

The new budget measures to be delivered in tomorrow night’s Federal Budget include $95.6 million for the planning and scoping of Picton Bypass and safety upgrades to Picton Road.

The Federal Government will establish a new headspace service in Narellan to provide additional mental health support for young people in the region.   

More bridges across our region could soon be upgraded or replaced, thanks to a further investment of $40 million from the Liberal and Nationals Government under the Bridges Renewal Program (BRP).    

After last week's flooding, disaster assistance is now available in 12 additional Local Government Areas (LGAs) across NSW, including Goulburn Mulwaree.     

Assistance is provided through the jointly-funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).      

Regional and rural sporting events are set to benefit from the Morrison Government’s Regional Sport Events Fund.

Now open for applications, the fund will support community sporting events across the region to kick-start the economy and encourage visitors back to the regions. 

Grants of $1 million have been made to an additional 28 flood impacted councils, bringing the total amount of financial support provided to councils to $45 million.
