Regional Development Australia Southern Inland (RDA Southern Inland) are pleased to announce that they have been successful in obtaining funding through the Department of Home Affair’s, Fostering Integration Program.
Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has welcomed news that agricultural businesses have doubled in parts of the Upper Lachlan Shire, in the past five years.
More than 1000 new businesses have opened in the electorate of Hume in the 2017-18 financial year.
The $1.52 million upgrade to the notorious ‘Devil’s Elbow’ hairpin bend on Grabben Gullen Road is now complete, making the road a safer, more efficient route for heavy vehicles, such as 25-metre B-doubles.
Work is powering ahead on The Northern Road Upgrade, with shovels now in the ground for work on Stage 5 of the upgrade between Littlefields Road and Glenmore Parkway and another contract finalised for the last stage of the upgrade through Luddenham.
Businesses and households will continue to see further reductions in their power bills thanks to the Morrison Government’s $67 million investment in new energy efficiency measures.
These measures will help businesses and households reduce their energy costs and emissions.
